The cost of both our lunch and happy hour tours is $89.99.

Our lunch tour walking distance is 0.5 miles.

Closed toed shoes are mandatory and a light parka or rain jacket is highly recommended. Other than that, dress comfortably! The walk between each restaurant is no more than a few minutes apart. As Hilo receives a lot of rain, umbrellas will be provided as needed.  But do not worry, most of downtown Hilo has covered sidewalks.  If an umbrella is needed it is only for two very short distances.  The rest of the walk is protected by Hilo’s covered sidewalks.

There is street parking available throughout downtown Hilo where the food tours will begin. If street parking is not available, there are several paid parking lots throughout downtown Hilo in close proximity to the tours.

Our lunch tour will begin at Ocean Sushi located at 235 Keawe St. in Hilo, HI.  Our dinner tour begins at Jackie Rey’s, located at 64 Keawe St. in Hilo.

No. This is a food tour that showcases the cuisine of these islands. Therefore, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free guests should keep this in mind if they intend on booking this tour.

Our lunch tour is 2 hours long and is scheduled from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM and our dinner tour is also 2 hours long and is scheduled from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM.

Yes, our minimum age requirement is 5 years old to participate in the lunch tour. We understand that many have kids under the age requirement and you are welcome to bring them along and share your meal with them.  We only ask that you please add a comment at the time of booking your reservation that informs us of how many underaged children will be coming along with your party.  For the happy hour tour, everyone attending must be 21+ with ID present, no exceptions.

We will be in each establishment approximately 30 minutes.

Water will be available with every meal for the lunch tour. Any other beverages are extra and your responsibility. Please be mindful that we are only at each establishment for 30 minutes.  Mahalo!

Tips that the waiters receive who serve us will be covered by Hilo Food Tours. However, giving tips to your tour guide for a job well done are always appreciated!
